Aftercare Centre
Mother Bear aftercare has a homely and friendly atmosphere where the well being of our children is our first priority The school is run by Vida and Tasha, who are mother and daughter and both have a passion for children.
Mother Bear Nursery School & Aftercare is registered as a Daycare Centre with the City of Tshwane as well as the department of Health and Welfare.
The premises are completely walled-in, have a camera intercom system and cannot be accessed any other way.
Our carefully selected staff are passionate about children and all care is taken to provide an environment where the child can make sense of everyday experiences, encouraged to learn and assisted to reach their full potential.
Mother Bear aftercare offers your child individual attention on a daily basis by qualified teachers. Occupational, speech or physio therapy can be arranged at an additional charge. We will also assist with homework given by the therapist.
Transportation
Learners will be collected from school in Julius Jepee street after school.
Please send a tog bag with civvies for the afternoon.
(The registration fee includes a free Mother Bear backpack)
There will be one shuttle to the school during the afternoon at 3pm.
The school bus will drop and collect children taking part in activities at 3pm.
Please take note that all children need to be collected from Mother Bear school before 5pm. Late collection penalties apply.
Lunch
A hot balanced lunch will be provided at school.
Extra Activities
Mother Bear offers the following mural activities activities in the afternoons at an additional cost of approximately R150 per month.
Arrangements and payments must be made to the service provider directly:

- Pottery
- Music
- Violin Lessons
- Soccer
- Balls Skills
Newsletters
Communication between Mother Bear and parents will be by means of newsletters.
Should you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you wish, a personal interview can be arranged to ensure that parents and staff can discuss issues undisturbed.
We will sign the learners homework book every day and report any relevant matters.
